A Dialogue with the Kogis – Let’s examine our relationship with the living world

Immerse yourself in the ancient wisdom of the Kogi, an indigenous people of Colombia: their way of being in the world and in harmony with nature challenges us to reflect on the issues facing our so-called ‘modern’ world. Where we sometimes feel lost or disconnected, they invite us to think differently, to listen with humility, and to calm our minds. To reconnect the ecology of the environment with our inner ecology.

In 2018 and 2023, as part of a series of cross-disciplinary dialogues on regional health, the Tchendukua – Ici et Ailleurs, founded by Eric Julien, facilitated a meeting between two scientific traditions: that of the Kogi people, represented by their traditional authorities, and that of scientists from the Western modern world. On this occasion, short video clips were produced, along with a film due to be broadcast in 2025 on Ushuaia TV.

Michel Podolak, president of Tchendukua France, will present the short videos and lead discussions on this unprecedented dialogue, which is unique in the world in its form. We will be on the Rhône Glacier, at CERN (Geneva) …
