Tools and fabrics distributed to the Kaggabas of Chendukua
In May 2024, the local team at Tchendukua – Aquí y Allá, our partner organisation under Colombian law, distributed tools and fabric to the Kaggabas of Chendukua, transported by mules. An example of practical action and intercultural trust.
The families settled on the land returned by the association come from the village of Chendukua. The families and traditional authorities of this village have been our primary points of contact throughout our history. Eric Julien first met them over 27 years ago. The name given to the association bears witness to this close relationship and trust…Tchendukua! Today, it is the place where the mamas and sagas pass on their knowledge to the younger generations settling on the new land.
